When the pandemic started affecting businesses in 2020, the federal government created several pandemic relief fund programs. Though it is too late now to apply for a loan through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), employers can still claim rebates through the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) program, using the fast rebate service launched by LP Consulting.

While many business owners believe they are not eligible for ERC rebates because they have already received a PPP loan, this is no longer true. The Consolidated Appropriations Act passed in 2020 removed this restriction, and those employers can use the new fast rebate service to claim up to $26,000 per employee in tax credits.
The ERC program differs from the PPP in several important ways. The PPP provided loans and placed several restrictions on how the money could be spent. ERC rebates are tax credits that never need to be repaid and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.
LP Consulting has partnered with a firm of ERC specialists to provide a 15 Minute Refund program that guarantees business owners their maximum allowable rebate, with a minimum time commitment. Employers can claim up to $5,000 per quarter, per employee, for wages paid in 2020, and $7,000 per employee, per quarter, for wages paid in 2021.
The rebate program is open to all businesses with 500 full-time employees or less, including startups, new businesses, and non-profit organizations. Businesses founded since February 15, 2020, are eligible under a special category as a Recovery Startup Business and may claim up to $100,000 in rebates.
To find out if they are eligible, business owners can contact an ERC specialist, or take a one-minute assessment on the LP Consulting website. The assessment consists of 10 simple questions, requires no proprietary business information, and can be completed with no cost or obligation.
Eligible employers will receive a link to a secure portal where they can complete their claim in 15 minutes or less with the help of an ERC specialist CPA. They will be asked to upload several documents so the CPA team can calculate their rebate and complete the paperwork.
There is no cost to any business that is not eligible or does not receive a rebate.
